Our Vendor Selection Process

With a top tier Vendor Management team at the helm, our vendor selection process leaves very little margin for error.

Our team begins by analyzing our past and current project details (language pair, tools, subject matter, etc.) to determine trends and patterns that they use to forecast the industry – and thereby our own – resource needs.

After both active and passive recruitment have brought in enough applicants for the position(s), an initial review of their portfolio is conducted with each resource to check their background linguistically and technically. Those who are determined to be a potential candidate make it through to a shortlist, within which each resource is given a test to assess their skill level.

Finally, the remaining candidates who passed their test undergo an interview phase, after which the roles are filled with the most qualified candidates.

Our Internal Project Cycle – Supply Chain

Once the project has been confirmed, it is immediately sent to a dedicated project manager (PM). The files are stored on a secure server and assigned from there to any parties involved. After receiving the files, the PM finds the perfect resource for each step. They check the language pair, subject matter, tools, technical level and deadline urgency to determine which resource(s) would be best assigned to each task. All vendors involved in a project are notified at the project start of when they would need to begin and submit their tasks to avoid downtime between phases.

The client is always kept up to date on the progress of their project where needed and is given a complete package of all the files related to their project including an output file in the format of their choice.

Upon completion, the PMs then gather feedback about the project in order to improve where necessary and build on what works, improving every subsequent project.

Our Quality Assurance / Quality Control Process

Every task undergoes one or more review cycles, depending on the type of task. Reviews and edits are performed by senior linguists and localization engineers oversee the technical aspects of the files, such as exporting, reintegration of content and metadata. Our proofreading is always done by native and professional language experts who make sure there are no grammatical errors, stylistic inconsistencies or linguistic accuracy.
